Just create a new middleware with "php7.4 artisan make:middleware JWTMiddleWare"
Add this code snippet below in that new Middleware file:

Then register it in Kernel.php file like this:

        'throttle' => \Illuminate\Routing\Middleware\ThrottleRequests::class,
        'verified' => \Illuminate\Auth\Middleware\EnsureEmailIsVerified::class,
        'auth.jwt' => \App\Http\Middleware\JWTMiddleWare::class,
    ];

And then just add "->middleware('auth.jwt')" flag to the route that you want to protect, thats all
