    - Previous Log sequence number (in linked list structure)
    - Information that triggered the log
- Logs can be used for recovery purpose

- Then Transaction log can be used for lost transactions (Roll-forward recovery)
- In postgresql, it is WAL and stored in pg_xlog, in DB2 it is in sqlogdir
