The return value of useState() is an array whose elements 
(the state and setter function) can be accessed through destructuring. Typically
we would write something like this;

const [theme, setTheme] = useState('dark');

// can also be written like this.

const [_, setTheme] = useState('dark');

// _ (underscore) signifies that I don't need that

BUT we can also pass the whole hook instead of only destructuring two items; e.g

const adoptedPet = useState();  // can be passed like this.

*******adoptedPet is an array of two things******
