Typically, the vast majority of accounts in Vault are Customer accounts. Customer accounts will always have a specific Smart Contract associated with them and a set of parameters used to drive product behaviour. Logic inside the Smart Contract can use the values of that account’s balances and parameters in order to maintain the account, often by accepting or rejecting incoming postings, as well as generating postings themselves.
