    LKE is a hosted Kubernetes offering from Linode. As such:

    It costs money (not very much, though).

    It is easy to set up.

    The control plane is managed by Linode and hidden from you.

    It offers advanced integrations with other cloud services (storage, load-balancers, etc.).

    You will be given a demonstration on how to build a Kubernetes cluster with two Worker Nodes, as well as how to get and configure the Kubernetes command line utility (kubectl). Later in the course, you will learn how to use Kubernetes to provision and utilise a Linode load balancer and integrate it with the sample application.
