The importance of raising children in the environment, which was debatable, has now become more controversial. It can be agreed strongly upon the fact that this matter has some convincing arguments despite the concerns about it. This essay will discuss how the environment influences children to grow up in the countryside and how the environment influences children to grow up in a big city, thus leading to a reasonable conclusion.

At the outset, there are numerous reasons why the environment influences children to grow up in the countryside is significant. But, the most conspicuous one stems from the fact that children have more expansive areas to learn and play because outer suburbs have many open spaces to play and learn. For instance, the research in this area invariably shows that 80% of Australian parents migrate to regional areas to raise their children. For this reason, the impact of raising children in outer suburbs can not be ignored.

Nevertheless, some believe the environment influences children's growth in a big city. But, the most salient one is that children need more room to play and learn as the city is a highly developed area with tall buildings, and they need more open spaces for fresh air and to know and play. As an illustration, findings of some studies reveal that 80 per cent of Victorian children are below average in their activities because of their childhood growth in cities. Therefore, the influence of growing children in cities is undeniable.
