If the second vararg type overlaps with the first one then you should cast the it to an array.

a("a", "b", "c");

void a(String... params) {
	System.out.println(params.length); //length: 3 
	b(params); //length: 3
    b((Object)params); //length: 1 (Passes the params as a single parameter to b)
    b(Object[]params); //length: 3 (Passes the params individually)
}

void b(Object... params) {
	System.out.println(params.length);
}
